Pharmacogenomic testing is aimed at reducing trial and error and tailoring treatment to the uniqueness of patient's genetic makeup. The recommendations discussed will include the role of the nursing staff, nurse educators, administrators, and NPS in the adoption of this new cutting edge treatment.
